Al Armstrong Clown of the Year Award
Applicant must be an active and participating member of Texas Mid-Cities Clown Alley #85.
The individual must be known for their dedication to T.M.C.C.A. #85 and clowning without personal gain.
A well-rounded clown is recommended, i.e., someone who gives to their community - is an active volunteer - and who is exposed to the community or who is a professional in the Art of Clowning.
The individual must promote T.M.C.C.A #85 in all facets of clowning.
The recipient should be recognized by their fellowman as an outstanding individual who shines in clowning.
Applicant must have been a member of T.M.C.C.A. #85 for at least one year.
If more than one nominee - these will be voted by written ballot and final results will be secret until presentation.
Best 1st of May
Must have been a member of T.M.C.C.A. #85 for a year or less.
Must have made a great effort and impact at improving his/her self, i.e., make-up - costume - skits or entertaining skills.
Must have been willing to work to participate in T.M.C.C. #85 activities and alley meetings and be willing to work for the betterment of the alley.
Mid Sillies Award
Something funny, maybe a little embarrassing, that happened when doing something related to clowning activity, continues with the show or activity.
Must be written down by either the person it happened to or someone else who knows the details. Award goes to the clown it happened to. Written information to be turned over to Secretary by November meeting and read at that time (meeting), then voted on by written ballot.
Board of Directors Award
This award will be decided by the Board of Directors.
This award will be presented to recipient not only for clowning skills, but for work done in the name of and for promoting clowning.
Most Improved Joey
Must have been a member of T.M.C.C.A. #85 for more than a year.
Must have made a great effort and impact at improving her/his self, i.e., make-up - costume - skits or entertaining.
Must be willing to participate in T.M.C.C.A. #85 activities and alley meetings and be willing to work for the betterment of the alley.
Nick "Nicola" Bradley Creative Arts Award
Must demonstrate originality, inventiveness, ingenuity in the entertainment of others. Must be a solo performance in clown.
The time frame for this award is from Nov. 1 through Oct. 30, to be voted on (by secret ballot) in November and award presented in December.
The Hubba Hubba Performance Award
This award is given to the outstanding group performance given in clown during an alley meeting.

Spark Plug Award
This award is given for the Joeys who are responsible for bringing in new members this year. A 1st Place Certificate of Appreciation given for the most new members for the year.
